"President Nursultan Nazarbayev noted in the new State-of-the-Nation Address that the global economic crisis is going on and the geopolitical situation in the region is becoming more complex. In these circumstances our country has demonstrated it is ready to face challenges. The key goal is to ensure the development of the country in accordance with the Kazakhstan-2050 Development Strategy. To this end, President Nazarbayev proposed the new economic policy "Nurly Zhol" that envisages the development of infrastructure, transport and industry. The most important thing is that the state has necessary means to achieve the goal," the MP stressed. According to senator Adyrbekov, at least $3 billion will be allotted for these purposes a year. "International organizations are ready to grant credits to Kazakhstan. In addition, the Kazakh Parliament adopted the Law "On investments" that gives enormous preferences to foreign investors who, in turn, are keen to invest nearly $9 billion into Kazakhstan's economy in next three years. We really hope that Kazakhstan will be able to overcome the new financial crisis and ensure sustainable growth of national economy," he added.
