Kazakhstan recommends refraining from visiting Bangkok
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Tourism Industry Committee of the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and New Technologies urges Kazakh citizens willing to make trips to Thailand to refrain from visiting this country until the crisis situation is fully resolved there, the committee reported today.

Currently, the committee noted, the situation in the main tourist centers (Pattaya, Phuket, Samui, Hua Hin and Chiang) remains calm. However, the authorities of many countries recommended their citizens leave the country. "We strongly recommend tour operators and travel agents, selling tours to Thailand, to warn tourists about the military situation in the country", the report says.
