Kazakhstan reduced twofold number of business licenses

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "The number of business licenses was reduced in Kazakhstan twofold to protect business from bureaucracy and corruption," Vice Speaker of the Kazakh Majilis Dariga Nazarbayev said today in Astana.

"27 laws were adopted in the best interests of Kazakhstani entrepreneurs, development of small and medium business. They are aimed at humanization of legislation, reduction of administrative barriers, creation of a favorable climate for small and large investors," she added addressing the enlarged sitting of the Nur Otan Political Council chaired by President, Nur Otan Party Leader Nursultan Nazarbayev. Besides, special legislative measures were adopted to support the country's agro-industrial complex. Taxation, competition and bulk purchase legislative framework was updated; new forms of state and private partnership were introduced.
