Kazakhstan remains adherent to principles of democracy and human rights - Janez Lenarcic
ASTANA. December 1. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ Kazakhstan remains adherent to principles of democracy and human rights, Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Janez Lenarcic said it at the briefing during the OSCE Summit in Astana.

According to him Kazakhstan has made great work on establishing democracy and human rights in the country. 'Certainly, if we look back 20 years ago we will see another world. Kazakhstan has definitely made great progress. Though, there is still a lot of work to do', J. Lenarcic said.
He also expressed confidence that Kazakhstan would continue democratic reforms. 'This is what I heard in the Kazakh President's speech at the Summit which proves that Kazakhstan would be adherent to principles of democracy and human rights. It really inspires me', Janez Lenarcic emphasized.
