Kazakhstan reveals wrestling squad for U23 World Championships

10 wrestlers are to represent Kazakhstan at the U23 World Championships to take place in Albania between October 21-27, 2024, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Olympic.kz.

Kazakhstan wrestlers’ squad will include: Allan Oralbek (57kg), Adilet Almukhamedov (61kg), Bekzat Yermekbay (65kg), Yernur Nurgazy (70kg), Zhengis Kanybekov (79kg), Nurzhan Issagaliyev (86kg), Bekzat Amangali (92kg), Rizabek Aitmukhan (97kg), and Omarkhan Nadirov (125kg).

An athlete for the 74kg weight class has not been identified yet.

The U23 World Wrestling Championships are the Amateur Wrestling World Championship for athletes under 23 years old and is organized by the United World Wrestling. The tournament is set to run on October 21-27 in Tirana, Albania.
