Kazakhstan rises in IMD World Digital Competitiveness Rankings 2023
Kazakhstan climbed two spots in the IMD World Digital Competitiveness Rankings 2023 by the IMD World Competitiveness Center. The country is ranked 34th out of 64 countries with 71,84 points, Kazinform News Agency cites the IMD.
Last year Kazakhstan was placed 36th with 73,03 points. This year it outperformed Portugal (36th place), Poland (39th), Italy (43rd) and Türkiye (53rd).
The IMD World Competitiveness Center measures the capacity and readiness of 64 economies to adopt and explore digital technologies as a key driver for economic transformation in business, government and wider society.
The USA tops the IMD World Digital Competitiveness Rankings 2023. Coming in second is the Netherlands. Singapore and Denmark are ranked 3rd and 4th, respectively. Switzerland rounds out the top 5 of the rankings.
