Kazakhstan, Romania sign 3 intergovernmental agreements - Prosecutor General

He held negotiations with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Justice of Romania Simona-Maya Theodore, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Kazakhstan informs. During the meeting the sides discussed prospects of further cooperation in the field of combating crime, law and order, as well as international security. The talks resulted in the signing of three intergovernmental agreements between Kazakhstan and Romania - on legal assistance in criminal matters, extradition and transfer of sentenced persons. In addition, the Attorney General of Kazakhstan has met with the Prosecutor General of Romania Tiberiu-Michael Neetu. The two sides exchanged views on issues of international security and stressed the importance of coordinated action to prevent and combat transnational organized crime.
