Kazakhstan-Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum kicks off in Kostanay region

The XIX Kazakhstan-Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum themed ‘Agriculture is the basis for strong economy’ kicked off in Kostanay region, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The panel sessions also started their work with speakers from Kazakhstan and Russia debating ensuring food security under modern conditions, digital technologies in the agro-industrial complex, and participation of the youth in the sphere of agriculture.

The Heads of Kazakhstan and Russia are expected to take part in the XIX Kazakhstan-Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum via videoconferencing.

As earlier reported, the President of Russia arrived in Kazakhstan for an official visit. The leaders of Kazakhstan and Russia are set to hold talks to focus on the pressing issues of the Kazakhstan-Russia strategic partnership.
