Kazakhstan, Russia to eye roadmap on shared use of Baikonur Space Center
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Chairman of Kazakhstan's National Space Agency (Kazcosmos) Mr. Talgat Mussabayev is set to meet with his Russian colleague Oleg Ostapenko in Moscow in coming days, the agency's press service reports.

The issue high on the agenda of the upcoming meeting of Mussabayev and Ostapenko is how the sides implement the agreements in line with the roadmap on shared use of the Baikonur Space Center for 2014-2016.
The roadmap was drawn up at the instruction of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev after the interregional cooperation forum of Kazakhstan and Russia and signed by the governments of the countries in December 2013.
The document covers a wide range of issues, including functioning and development of the Baikonur Space Center, creation of the Baiterek space guided-missile system, etc.
