Kazakhstan & Russian bilateral trade volume increased

The Kazakh delegation was headed by co-chairman - Vice Speaker of the Majilis of the Parliament RK Sergey Djachenko, the press service of the State Duma of the Russian Federation informs.
According to Shvetsova, inter-regional ties are being developed. Among 83 sub-federal units of the Russian Federation 76 have trade and economic ties with Kazakh partners. Interregional and cross-border trade covers 70 % of bilateral turnover. In Kazakhstan, there are about 4,000 enterprises with the Russian capital.
"A month ago there was signed an agreement on military- technical cooperation in the field of safety and road map for joint work at Baikonur spaceport", reminded L.Shvetsova. Lyudmila Shvetsova emphasized that "2014 is a decisive period for integration steps of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus because from January 1, 2015 the Eurasian Economic Union will start its operation".
"2013 was a fruitful year for bilateral relations: November 11 in Yekaterinburg the Presidents of our countries signed a comprehensive treaty between Russia and Kazakhstan on good-neighborliness and alliance in the XXI century. It opened a new era in the development of Russian-Kazakh relations on the basis of higher level of coordination in the fields of mutual interest. We have to ratify the document for its entry into force", said the representative of the State Duma.
S.Djachenko, in turn, said that the collaboration between Kazakhstan and Russia is based on a solid legal foundation of a large number of treaties and agreements. "Entering a new level of integration between our states increases the role of inter-parliamentary partnership and expands cooperation in the field of legislative activity", he added.
