Kazakhstan-Russian relations serve as an example of cooperation in the former USSR, Nursultan Nazarbayev
"You are one of the initiators of deepening integration processes in the fomer Soviet Union," Vladimir Putin said addressing Nursultan Nazarbayev. You are one of the authors of the Eurasian Economic Community, Customs Union and I hope the future Eurasian Union."
In his turn the Kazakh President stated, Russia and Kazakhstan are strategic allies and partners. "Relations between Russia and Kazakhstan serve as an example in the former Soviet republics. It is the result of the Customs Union, Single Economic Space," Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed.
President Nazarbayev noted also dynamic development of regional cooperation, importance of annul meetings of the Presidents on the sidelines of the regional cooperation forum of the two countries. "We have no unsettled bilateral cooperation issues," the Head of State resumed.
Besides, Nursultan Nazarbayev highlighted the significance of the milestone - signing of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia signed in 1992.
