Kazakhstan's children can be adopted through special agencies

ASTANA. December 8. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Under new amendments to the Marriage and Family Code Kazakhstan's children can be adopted only thought special agencies, the press service of the Kazakh Justice Ministry said.

Those agencies must obtain accreditation at the children's right protection authorized agency. Besides, the new law will prioritize herewith potential adoptive parents from Kazakhstan. It will also settle child welfare issues.

The code includes norms to settle surrogate motherhood problems, conclusion and termination of child care contracts, and civil registration.
