Kazakhstan's content actual before joining WTO and under CU membership
The program entails infrastructural changes, increasing employment and competencies of Kazakh specialists. Kazakhstan's content is the proportion of those local goods, services and labor in value terms which are used by enterprises in Kazakhstan. In fact, it is the indicator of technological and industrial-innovative development level.
Ministry for Industry and New Technologies working body for implementation of local content increase policy is called " NADLoC National Agency for local content development». The main task of the agency is creating conditions for promotion of domestic producers within local market. Kairat Bekturgenev, a NADLoC chairman, notes: "With CU participation and on the threshold of joining WTO, the issue of local content becomes particularly acute as we offer new tools of state support such as reimbursement of expenses incurred in certification of goods, works and services and quality management systems and the Industrialization Map projects' local content expertise. I encourage local businesses to take the initiative and improve".
