Kazakhstan's development strategy sets high bar: Russian MP Savchenko

MOSCOW. KAZINFORM - Russian parliamentarians follow closely the progress of implementation of the Kazakhstan-2050 Development Strategy, deputy of the Russian State Duma Oleg Savchenko said at the round table themed "Modernization strategies: Kazakhstani and Russian experience" in Moscow Tuesday.

According to Mr. Savchenko, his colleagues in Russia are quite interested in the work done by Kazakhstani MPs. "The strategy suggested by the Kazakh leader - Nursultan Nazarbayev sets the high bar," he noted.

"The development course suggested by President Nazarbayev gives us, the deputies of the State Duma, an insight into the parliamentary activities in Kazakhstan," the Russian parliamentarian added.

The round table organized on the initiative of the Kazakh Embassy in Russia was held at the press center of the Parlamentskaya gazeta newspaper.
