Kazakhstan's energy consumption to make 87.4 bln kWh in 2011

TANA. November 14. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ "Electric energy consumption of Kazakhstan's power network is expected to make this year 87.4 bln kWh," Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Bakhytzhan Dzhaksaliyev told the Governmental meeting today in Astana.

According to him, the country's current power generation is 86 bln kWh. 415 mW of new generating capacities were put into operation so far. Till the end of the country will exploit total 900,000 MW power capacities," he added.
