Kazakhstan's first friendly match vs. Lithuania ends in a draw

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Kazakhstan v Lithuania friendly football match ended in a 1-1 draw in Turkey, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.

The Lithuanian side dominated the first half by opening the score in the fourth minute of the game. Our team managed to balance the game in the second half as Nurbol Zhumaskaliyev of Kazakhstan scored the equalizer in the 69th minute of play. It is worth mentioning that it was the debut of Yuri Krasnozhan as the head coach of Kazakhstan's national football team. Currently, Lithuania is №102 in the FIFA World Ranking, with Kazakhstan lagging behind at №128.
