TANA. November 25. KAZINFORM This year Kazakhstan's GDP per capita will exceed USD 10 thousand, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev made it public at the 14th Extraordinary Congress of Nur Otan People's Democratic Party on Friday in Astana.

"In 2015 GDP per capita will reach USD 15 thousand. Did we ever even dream about it a few years ago?" the Head of State said.

Nazarbayev noted that by this indicator Kazakhstan surpassed Ukraine more than twofold and outstripped a number of Eastern European countries.
Over the past four and a half years the household income, wages of government employees, student scholarships increased two times, pensions, allowances for child care - 2.6 times, expenditures on education, science and health - two times .
