Kazakhstan's GDP to grow by 6.5 points after adjustment of tenge exchange rate
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Parameters of Kazakhstan's GDP growth in 2014 have been revised in connection with the national currency exchange rate adjustment, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev said at the enlarged meeting of the Government with the participation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kazinform refers to primeminister.kz.

"Real GDP growth is projected at the previously planned level of 6%. The volume of nominal GDP in 2014 will grow by additional 6.5 percentage points and will reach 41.1 trillion tenge," he said.
The minister recalled that before the adjustment of the exchange rate the forecast volume of nominal GDP was at 38.6 trillion tenge.
