Kazakhstan's industrial production increased by 5.6% in January-February 2011
ASTANA. March 14. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The industrial production increased by 5.6% in January-February 2011 compared to the corresponding period of the last year. Head of the Kazakh Statistics Agency Alikhan Smailov has made it public at the briefing today.
"The industrial production made KZT 2.312 bln in January-February 2011. This is 5.6% more compared to the January-February 2010," A.Samilov said.
According to the Agency, the production in the mining industry and quarry development increased by 4.6%, in the processing industry - by 7.6%, energy supply, gas, steam supply and air conditioning - by 5.4%, water supply, sewerage system, control over waste collection and distribution - by 2%.
