Kazakhstan's investment climate debated in Spain

ASTANA. December 8. KAZINFORM In order to promote Kazakh-Spanish industrial and innovation projects and to mark the 20th anniversary of independence of Kazakhstan the Kazakh Embassy to Spain jointly with the Supreme Council of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Shipping of Spain initiated conferences on Kazakhstan's investment climate.

Reps of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund, Kaznex Invest, United Chemical Company and other Kazakhstan-based companies took part in the events, the Kazakh MFA said.

The conferences enjoyed also the participation of above 100 guests from Spain.

Kazakh Ambassador Yergali Bulegenov addressing those gathered told about the most important achievements of Kazakhstan attained for the past 20 years, political and economic reforms, initiated by President Nursultan Nazarbayev. Kazakh reps briefed on the country's economic development dynamics, investment climate, privileges and preferences for foreign investors. Certain investment projects were presented there to attract Spanish investors.

As stated there, Kazakhstan is notable for its investment and business climate which is important for capital investments, setting up of joint ventures and doing business.
