Kazakhstan's leadership in democratic reforms - great responsibility

ASTANA. February 28. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The leadership in implementing democratic reforms places great responsibility on Kazakhstan. OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Ažubalis said it during the meeting with Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Ural Mukhamedzhanov.

"I congratulate you on successful OSCE presidency last year. The Summit that you held in Astana, the measures you took in Kyrgyzstan to resolve the crisis and in Moldova oblige us to continue active work in these directions," A. Ažubalis said.

According to him, the stabilization of the situation in Kyrgyzstan is a common aim for the OSCE member states. He also emphasized the importance of mutual understanding between Kazakhstan and Lithuania regarding the issue of settling the situation in Afghanistan.
