Kazakhstan's Maria Mudriak won As.Li.Co. int'l competition in Italy

PAVLODAR. KAZINFORM Maria Mudriak's performance at the prestigious international competition for young opera singers of Europe As.Li.Co. (Associazione Lirica e Concertistica Italiana) in Como, Italy, was a great success.

Each year, As.Li.Co. auditions hundreds of young singers from around Europe for leading roles in operas as part of their mainstage season productions. Each singer chosen, gains invaluable performance experience by touring their chosen role throughout the Lombardy region of Italy in opera houses in Como, Cremona, Bergamo, Brescia, and Pavia. Audiences throughout Lombardy hailed the performances of last year's chosen artists in productions of La Traviata, Werther, and L'elisir d'amore.
