Kazakhstan's MFA official statement

ASTANA. February 27. KAZINFORM Iran nuclear talks were held on February 26-27 in Almaty. The talks have contributed to strengthening mutual understanding between Iran and the group of international negotiators, the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs.

The sides agreed to further discussing how to deliver on the issues at the level of experts in Istanbul on March 18 this year, and the next round of high-level talks in Almaty on April 5-6.

Kazakhstan, without being a direct participant in the talks, has tried to create favorable conditions for a fruitful meeting.

Kazakhstan welcomes the decision of the parties to continue negotiations, stresses the need to address the problem by peaceful, diplomatic ways and the commitment of the Kazakh side to the next meeting of the delegation in Almaty in the declared period of time.
