The Kazakh pavilion occupies the biggest area at the exhibition. Over 20 national companies represent over a thousand of different products of food and processing industry. The Kazakh products excited interest of exhibition guests. Despite the challenging situation in the world economy, Kazakh food producers search for new markets. The Commercial Directo of Kazakh company ?Pybprom? told that the enterprise has three fish processing plants and trades with hundreds of other companies in Kazakhstan and abroad ? Russia, the EU countries, Canada. The volume of shipmen is up to 900 tons per year. The company provides 530 kazakhstanies with work and the head of the enterprise assured that despite all difficulties, there are no any reduction in personnel. Trade Representative of Kazakhstan to Russia Byacheslav Chernov considers that the economic crisis is a unique chance for Kazakh entrepreneurs. ?National currency devaluation, recession in external demand and rising costs of importing goods open new opportunities for the development of domestic productions, promotion of competitiveness of Kazakh goods and introduction of new technologies?, V.Chernov said. Experts say that Kazakhstan and Russia are states, able to provide their own food security. Within the economic crisis, following correct state policy and introducing innovations both countries have a real potential for dynamic access to regional food markets.
