TANA. November 26. KAZINFORM Chairman of Kazakhstan's Agency for Religious Affairs Kairat Lama Shariff met with the head of the Oslo Centre for Peace and Human Rights, ex-PM of Norway Kjell Magne Bondevik and representatives of the Norway Helsinki Committee, the agency's press service reports.

In a meeting the parties debated issues concerning religious freedom in Kazakhstan and execution of the official Law "On religious activity and religious associations".

According to him, all religious associations are equal before the law; every citizen has a right to adhere to religious or some other views.

Kjell Magne Bondevik, in his turn, shared the practice of interfaith tolerance in Europe. Besides, the parties expressed general opinion on expediency of furthering bilateral cooperation, practice exchange, development and implementation of joint projects.
