Kazakhstan's science financing to reach KZT 42 bln, Minister
"Volumes of science funding grow year after year. For example, in 2011 KZT 29 bln was allocated for these purposes, in 2012 it is planned to increase financial backing up to KZT 42 bln. For 2 years it grew 2%," the Minister said during the seminar-session in Astana.
ЭPursuant to the President's instruction the Ministry has signed the national license with the US Thomson Reuters Company that provides access to the world scientific information resources. Kazakhstan plans to open 2 or 3 research institutes by 2015. Another highlight is that Kazakhstan has started practicing large-scale state-run program to fund industrial and innovation development. The country's science will be focused on implementation of achievements and development of innovations,Э the Minister added.
