Kazakhstan's Special Winter Olympics starts in Astana

ASTANA. March 5. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan's Special Winter Olympics will be held in Astana on March 5-6, Special Olympics Kazakhstan reported on March 3.

According to the message, 250 athletes from 12 regions, Almaty and Astana cities, and a Russian team will participate in skates, skis and floor ball competitions. The event is organised with the support of the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF), the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Astana Centre for a Healthy Lifestyle, the National Bank and private companies, the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reports.
