Kazakhstan's Student included in Un Certain Regard section of 65th Cannes Film Festival's Official Selection

ASTANA. May 7. KAZINFORM "Student," a film by Darezhan Omirbayev, produced by Kazakhfilm Studio, has been included in the Un Certain Regard section of the 65th Cannes Film Festival's Official Selection, which will be held on May 16-27 at the Côte d'Azur.

The film will compete against competitors directed by veteran film-makers Julio Medem, Gaspar Noé and Xavier Dolan and others. The chairman of the jury in that category of the festival will be Hollywood movie star Tim Roth, the Kazakh MFA's press service said.
