Kazakhstan's Tolen Abdyk recognized the best author of 2013 in the Turkic World
ASTANA. KAZINFORM Laureate of the State Prize of Kazakhstan Tolen Abdyk was recognized the Author of the Year 2013 in the Turkic World at the VI Congress of Literary Magazines of the Turkic World held in Eskisehir, the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2013.

His books were translated into 13 Turkic languages.
The congress traditionally organized every year by TURKSOY and the Eurasian Authors' Union was dedicated this time to Ismail Gaspirali, a Crimean Tatar intellectual, educator, publisher. The opening ceremony of the congress gathering chief editors of literature journals of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Iran, Turkey, etc., took place February 17. The congress which aims at strengthening the cooperation among literature journals of the Turkic World, featured panels on Ismail Gaspirali's ideals, the press release of the Kazakh Embassy in Turkey reads.
