Kazakhstan's Yaroslava Shvedova eases into Round 2 of Brasil Tennis Cup

In the first round Shedova took on Spain's Silvia Soler Espinosa. She routed the 26-year-old Espinosa in two straight sets 7:6, 7:6 securing her place in the second round clash with Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová from the Czech Republic. The Czech tennis player beat the 4th seed of the tournament Francesca Schiavone from Italy 6:4, 1:6, 7:5 in the first round. The Brasil Tennis Cup is a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It is worth noting that Yaroslava Shvedova won this tournament in women's doubles last year together with Anabel Medina Garrigues from Spain.
