Kazakhstan satisfied with dynamically developing political contacts with EU - MFA

ASTANA. November 10. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakhstan is satisfied with dynamically developing political contacts with the European Union. Executive Secretary of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rapil Zhoshybayev has said it at a session of the Kazakhstan-European Union Public justice and law order subcommittee .

"Strengthening and expansion of partnership relations with the European Union is a strategic priority of Kazakhstan's foreign policy. Today we are satisfied with dynamically developing political contacts and trade-economic cooperation of Kazakhstan and the European Union", R.Zhoshybayev noted.

He reminded that the President recently completed his two official visits to Brussels and Paris, within the framework of which Nursultan Nazarbayev held meetings with top officials of the European Union, NATO, Belgium, France and Luxembourg.

"Following the visit we expect serious progress in all key issues of cooperation of Kazakhstan and the European Union", the Kazakh MFA's representative added.

"In particular, heads of Kazakhstan and the European Union confirmed mutual striving for start of the negotiations on framework agreements between Kazakhstan and the European Union", he resumed.
