Kazakhstan scientists published five-volume bio-bibliography "Nursultan Nazarbayev"
Academician of the National Academy of Science of Kazakhstan, Minister of Education and Science Bakytzhan Zhumagulov presented the bio-bibliography published in Kazakh, Russian and English. The event was held within the Forum of Scientists in Almaty on December 1.
The bio-bibliography contains materials which characterize the life and activity of Nursultan Nazarbayev: key dates, a profile of the life and work, publications of his works and books about him, information about the interviews, conversations, and press conferences.
Publications of the National Book Chamber of Kazakhstan, funds of the National Library of Kazakhstan as well as the Central Scientific Library were used in indexing. B.Zhumagulov, B.Kassymbekov, edited bio-bibliography "Nursultan Nazarbayev".
A book "The history of Mamluk architecture in Egypt" was represented at the Forum as well. N.Nazarbayev himself wrote an introduction.
The book is devoted to the study of unique historical and cultural significance of the relationships that existed between the Great steppe of Eurasia and the Arab-Muslim world of the East in XI-XV centuries, which appeared in the epoch of development of military-political and diplomatic relations between the Mamluk state in Egypt and the Golden Horde in the Dasht-i-Kipchak in the XIII-XV centuries. More than 200 architectural memorials of the Mamluk period were studied in this purpose. Over 300 photos of more than 20 best monuments of the Mamluk architecture remained in Cairo were used in the publication.
