Kazakhstan secures four medals at Asian Hand-to-Hand Fighting Championship in Bishkek
Kazakh emergency workers are representing the country at the Asian Hand-to-Hand Fighting Championship in Bishkek, Kazinform News Agency has learned from the press service of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Mariya Chabotareva secured gold in the "Self-defense 1+1" discipline on the first day of the competition. Mariya works at the Department for Emergency Situations of the Karaganda region.
The second gold medalist, Sagynysh Asylbekova represented the Department for Emergency Situations of Astana.
Emilia Larionova, a worker of the Department for Emergency Situations of the Atyrau region grabbed the gold medal in the “Duel” discipline on the second day of the Asian Hand-to-Hand Fighting Championship.
Mariya Chabotareva claimed silver in the “Duel” discipline.
The Asian Hand-to-Hand Fighting Championship brought together the strongest athletes from 16 countries. 40 sets of medals to be awarded at the competition.
