Kazakhstan seeks to increase import of jet fuel from China
Kazakhstani airports lack around 300 thousand tons of jet fuel per year, Karat Karabayev, transport ministry of the country, said, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
As of today, Kazakhstan faces a shortage of around 300 thousand tons of jet fuel a year. The issue is to be addressed by increasing the import of jet fuel, including from China. The JET A-1 brand fuel is being considered with the refueling complex of Almaty airport being modernized to start using the said jet fuel, said the Kazakh transport minister.
