Kazakhstan sent plane for evacuation of its citizens from quake-hit Japan
ASTANA. March 14. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakhstan has sent a plane for evacuation of its citizens from quake-hit Japan.
As the press service of the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry informs, TU-154 with the employees of the Disaster Medicine Centre on board took off to Japan today morning. The plane is provided with drinking water and food.
Press Secretary of the Foreign Office Ilyas Omarov says the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Japan is making a list of our citizens now. Currently, it is still unknown how many people are planned to be evacuated.
In total, there are 95 Kazakhstani citizens in Japan now.
