Kazakhstan set to establish AI Research Institute

It is necessary to significantly update the content and teaching approaches at universities. Future teachers, doctors, agriscientists, and subject specialists should mandatorily have basic knowledge in the sphere of AI, Kazinform Agency quotes the Head of State addressing today the Digital Bridge 2023 Forum underway in the Kazakh capital.

In his recent State-of-the-Nation Address the Head of State set a task to train experts and carry out research in this sphere at the ground of at least three well-known universities. Another highlight is the transformation of the Smart System and AI Institute at the Nazarbayev University into a full-fledged research institute. The institute will include the research, development and engineering centre working in close partnership with the world’s and country’s IT industry leaders.
