Kazakhstan set to host Days of Azerbaijani Culture
Kazakhstan will host the Days of Azerbaijani Culture on December 2-5. Ahead of the event Kazakhstan’s Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva met with Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan Agalar Ragim-oglu Atamoglanov, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the ministry.
During the meeting, Minister Balayeva noted that cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries develop dynamically.
“Organization of reciprocal Days of Culture is another step towards strengthening and deepening bilateral ties. The Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Kazakhstan are set to be held in 2024. This demonstrates that we are ready to cooperate closely across many avenues, plan long-term and mutually profitable initiatives facilitating strengthening of friendly ties,” Aida Balayeva stressed.
The Azerbaijani ambassador pointed out that a number of important documents signed by the heads of state, including the Protocol on the establishment of the High Interstate Council of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan symbolizes stable partnership. In his words, the Azerbaijani side is especially interested in cultural and media cooperation with Kazakhstan.
Minister Balayeva, in her turn, expressed interest in stepping up cooperation in the sphere of youth policy, creative industry, as well as civil sector and suggested implementing a project aimed at the development of cultural and scientific tourism.
