Kazakhstan sets up Nuclear Physics Development Council
The Kazakh Prime Minister decreed to establish the Nuclear Physics Development Council, Kazinform News Agency reports.
It is an advisory and consultative agency under the Kazakh Government. The Nuclear Physics Development Council is purposed to generate proposals and recommendations for the development of key directions of public policy in the sphere of nuclear physics development (radiochemistry).
The working body of the Council is the Kazakh Energy Ministry. The meetings will be held on an ad hoc basis.
The Kazakh Energy Minister (chairman), Science and Higher Education Minister (deputy chairman), Vice Minister of Energy (secretary), Senate deputy, Agriculture, Healthcare, Transport, Finance, Foreign Policy, National Economy, Digital Development, Ecology and Natural Resources Vice Ministers, chief of the social development department of the executive office of the Kazakh Government and others joined the Council.
