Kazakhstan spends KZT 300 bln on sports

Kazakhstan spends some 300 billion tenge on sports including the funds from the republican budget up to 62 billion tenge, Kazinform News Agency quotes Kazakh Sports Minister Yermek Marzhikpayev as saying.

The minister stressed the need to develop all sports in a competitive environment. At the same time, any sports may develop through sponsorship and at the expense of the country’s sportsmen. “There are no limits,” he said.
