Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka to step up commercial and economic coop
ASTANA. November 20. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan and Sri Lanka are to boost commercial and economic cooperation.

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev announced the plans after the meeting with his Sri Lankan counterpart Mahinda Rajapaksa in Astana.
"Being one of the most dynamic economies in South Asia, Sri Lanka has the highest GDP per capita in the region. In the course of negotiations, my colleague from Sri Lanka and I have agreed the existing level of commercial and economic relations does not comply with the potential the both countries have. So, we've decided to step up cooperation in this sector," N. Nazarbayev said.
