Kazakhstan stands a good change to be among world's top 30 countries: Mathias Dornfeld

The Berlin-hosted event focused on the main provisions of the State-of-the-Nation Address "Kazakhstan's Way-2050: Common goal, common interests, common future" delivered by President Nursultan Nazarbayev in mid January. "The presidential address contains a number of specific goals and tasks on the implementation of the Kazakhstan-2050 Strategy. What is unique about this address is that it pays utmost attention to the development of SMEs as the main engine of Kazakhstan's economy. In addition, I was immensely impressed by the idea that Kazakhstan needs to develop renewable energy sources and that EXPO-2017 event in Astana will give a new impulse to that sector," Mr. Dornfeld noted. According to the German expert, if Kazakhstan fulfills those ambitious goals, it will undoubtedly become one of the leaders in the renewable energy market. "Kazakhstan is likely to enter the number of 30 most developed countries in the world, if it keeps right on. The country is also set to develop its tourism infrastructure in the future, given its wonderful natural attractions, such as the Almaty mountains or the Caspian Sea in the western part of the country," he added.
