ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan has strengthened penalties for crimes against minors.

From January 1, 2015 the new Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan entered into force. The new code provides for tougher penalties for committing grave and especially grave crimes. Thus, the new Penal Code introduced a lifetime ban for the right to engage in activities related to work with children for those convicted of sexual offenses against minors.
