Kazakhstan stun Armenia in UEFA Women’s Nations League

Kazakhstan defeated Armenia in the Group C4 of the UEFA Women’s Nations League on December 5 in the Kazakh capital, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.

Captain of the Kazakh side Yulia Myasnikova put Kazakhstan on the scoreboard in the 40^th minute. Aida Gaistenova gave Kazakhstan a 2:0 lead in the 48^th minute. Myasnikova’s second goal in the 58^th minute made Kazakhstan unreachable for the Armenian squad.

Armenia’s Portnova scored the only goal of the match for the guests in the 68^th minute.

Kamila Kulmagambetova sealed Kazakhstan’s victory in the 71^st minute of the match.

After six matches Madiyar Kembilov’s side have eight points and are ranked 3^rd in the Group C4 behind Israel and Estonia.
