Kazakhstan takes one more silver at ASBC Asian Boxing Championships

Kazakh boxer Ablaikhan Zhussupov added another silver medal to the country's tally at the now-running ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.

In the men’s 71 kg finals, he lost to Khavasbek Assadullayev by a split decision.

Previously, Zhussupov won bronze at the World Championships thrice and silver at the Asian Championships in 2017.

As earlier reported, Kazakh boxer Makhmud Sabyrkhan won a gold medal in the men’s 54 kg finals at the ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships in Thailand.
