Kazakhstan Temir Zholy reps visited Iran, Turkmenistan
Construction of the larger part of the railway section running via Iran should be completed by the end of the year, the company's press release reads.
Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Company president Askar Mamin had talks with Roads and Urban Developemnt Minister of Iran Ali Nikzad.
Besides, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy reps had a series of business meetings. They surveyed a new railway terminal of Peres Intl Forwarding Company Ltd (Interrail Company's affiliate in Tehran) and met with managing director.
In Turkmenistan Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Company president Askar Mamin met with Turkmen Railway Transport Minister Bayram Annameredov to discuss construction of the Turkmen section of Kazakhstan -Turkmenistan-Iran railway route and its completion date.
Following the results of the trip a decision was made to form a tripartite railway committee of Kazakhstan, Iran and Turkmenistan. The committee will convene this May in Aktau.
