Kazakhstan, the Netherlands eye promising cooperation in space industry

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Chairman of the National Space Agency (Kazcosmos) Talgat Mussabayev has received today a delegation from the Netherlands, the agency's press service reports.

Reps of Koninklijke Ten Cate N.V. company headed by its President Mr. Loek de Vries came to Astana to eye the development of promising cooperation with Kazakhstan in commercial-economic and scientific-technical spheres as well as in space sector.

During the negotiations in the Kazakh capital the sides discussed the development and production of materials for Kazakshtani space industry.

"Given that Kazakhstan is engaged in the development of satellite systems and space technologies, experience of the Netherlands-based company in the creation and usage of composite materials in space industry will be useful for Kazcosmos," Mr. Mussabayev stressed.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Netherlands Ms Murzamadiyeva was in attendance at the meeting. The sides agreed to map out a plan of further bilateral cooperation.
