Kazakhstan to appoint sole operator of Russia oil&gas products supplies in 2014
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan will appoint a sole operator of Russian oil and gas products supplies in 2014, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev announced at a Government's session on Tuesday.
"To regulate import wholesale supplies of oil and gas products from Russia and ensure stability in the inner market, Kazakhstan is going to assign KazMunayGas Onimderi LLP as a sole operator," Minister Dossayev noted.
In his words, the schedule of oil and gas products supply to the regions of the country and cities of Astana and Almaty will be approved to stabilize prices for fuel products. In addition, maximum allowable cost of petrol and fuel oil will be set monthly.
