Kazakhstan to appoint sole operator of Russian oil&gas products supplies

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan will set up a sole operator of Russian oil and gas products supplies, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev has announced today.

"To regulate import wholesale supplies of oil and gas products from Russia and ensure stability in the inner market, Kazakhstan is going to assign KazMunaiGas Onimderi LLP as a sole operator," Minister Dossayev said at a government's hour at Majilis, the lower chamber of the Kazakh Parliament.

In his words, the schedule of oil and gas products supply to the regions of the country and cities of Astana and Almaty will be approved to stabilize prices for fuel products.
