Kazakhstan to be battered by gusty wind

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Northern and southern Kazakhstan will be battered by gusty wind, blowing snow, fog and black ice today, March 18.

According to Kazhydromet, wind gusting up to 15-20 meters per second will hit Akmola, Karaganda, South Kazakhstan, Kostanay, East Kazakhstan and North Kazakhstan regions. In Pavlodar region gusts of wind are to reach 17-22 meters per second. Mangystau, West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Akmola, Karaganda, Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions will be steeped in fog. Blizzard is forecast for Kostanay, East Kazakhstan and Pavlodar region. It will be slippery in North Kazakhstan region.
