Kazakhstan to brace for fog, snow and ice-slick

Mets issued a weather forecast for Kazakhstan for January 15, Kazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet. 

Snow is expected to batter the country's west and north today, with rain and snow predicted in the south. Weather without precipitation is forecast for the southeast and east of Kazakhstan. 

Snowstorms are reported to grip the north of Kazakhstan. Ice slicks are expected to form on the roads in the west and southwest.

Fog is predicted to blanket all regions of Kazakhstan today. 

On January 14  Abai, Akmola, Aktobe, Atyrau, East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Zhetysu, Mangistau, North Kazakhstan and Turkistan regions woke up to foggy streets.
